Softball Recap: St. Ignatius College Preparatory Snaps Five-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

St. Ignatius College Preparatory won the last time they faced Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory and things went their way on Monday too. The Wildcats came out on top against the Fightin' Irish by a score of 5-1.

The team relied heavily on Delilah Berry, who went 3-for-4 with two runs and one RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March. Gianna Galarza was another key player, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one run.

St. Ignatius College Preparatory's victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-8. As for Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 10-11.
