Soccer Recap: Freehold Boro Takes a Loss

Freehold Boro lost against Manalapan back in October of 2018 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Colonials lost 6-0 to the Braves. Freehold Boro fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against Manalapan since Friday.

Freehold Boro has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season. As for Manalapan, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Freehold Boro will head out to square off against Brick Township on Monday. As for Manalapan, they will take on Lakewood on Monday.
