Basketball Recap: Crestwood Takes a Loss

On Tuesday, the Crestwood Cadets were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 39-38 to Hampton-Dumont/CAL. While losing is never fun, the Cadets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 127th, while Hampton-Dumont/CAL are ranked 48th).

Crestwood's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Hampton-Dumont/CAL, their win bumped their record up to 11-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crestwood will square off against Decorah-North Winneshiek at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Hampton-Dumont/CAL, they will take on Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
