Baseball Recap: Bound Brook Takes a Loss

Bound Brook extended their losing streak to five on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 1-7 in the process. They came up short against the South Hunterdon Eagles, falling 10-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Crusaders of the 20-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

As for South Hunterdon, they now have a winning record of 5-4. That ten run margin sets a new team best for them this season.

For South Hunterdon's part, Zach Naughton was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI and one double. Another player making a difference was Aaron Parisi, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and two runs.

Looking ahead, Bound Brook will venture away from home to square off against Princeton Day at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for South Hunterdon, they will welcome Delaware Valley at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
