Softball Recap: Southwick Regional Takes a Loss

Southwick Regional was the 21-10 winner over Central when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Rams lost 13-6 to the Golden Eagles on Monday. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Southwick Regional saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Anna Novak, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4. Another was Brooke Comee, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Southwick Regional's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Central, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.

Coming up, Southwick Regional will square off against Chicopee Comp at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rams are facing the Colts at the right time seeing as the Colts are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Central, they will head out on the road to square off against Smith Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
