Volleyball Recap: Frontier Falcons vs. Twin Lakes Indians

Frontier had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They had just enough and edged the Twin Lakes Indians out 3-2. The Falcons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Indians, too.

Frontier was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-22, 19-25, 25-20, 15-13.

Frontier found their leader in underclassman Lauren Wasson, who had eight digs and two aces.

Despite the loss, Twin Lakes saw an underclassman step up: Miya Clerget had 13 digs and seven aces. The dominant performance gave Clerget a new career-high in aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Cara Turner, who had 12 digs and two aces.

Frontier's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-12. As for Twin Lakes, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11.

Frontier will welcome North Newton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Twin Lakes, they will challenge West Lafayette at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. West Lafayette is coming into the matchup with three straight wins at home, so Twin Lakes will have to stop a team with plenty of momentum.
