Despite the loss, Twin Lakes saw an underclassman step up: Miya Clerget had 13 digs and seven aces. The dominant performance gave Clerget a new career-high in aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Cara Turner, who had 12 digs and two aces.
Frontier's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-12. As for Twin Lakes, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11.
Frontier will welcome North Newton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Twin Lakes, they will challenge West Lafayette at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. West Lafayette is coming into the matchup with three straight wins at home, so Twin Lakes will have to stop a team with plenty of momentum.
