Baseball Recap: Mountain Ridge Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Mountain Ridge's offense. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Northern Garrett Huskies on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Miners in their meetings with the Huskies: they've now lost four in a row.

Mountain Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Northern Garrett, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 15-1.

Mountain Ridge has already played their next matchup (against Allegany), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Northern Garrett, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Southern on the 30th.
