Basketball Recap: Amboy Gets the Win

Amboy hadn't done well against Milledgeville recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Amboy Clippers came out on top against the Milledgeville Missiles by a score of 44-37. This was a revenge game for the Clippers: when they faced off against the Missiles back in January, they had to take a 41-32 loss.

The win made it two in a row for Amboy and bumps their season record up to 12-17. As for Milledgeville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-20 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Amboy and Fulton will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest, having both just played. As for Milledgeville, they will face off against Newman Central Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Newman Central Catholic knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Milledgeville likes a good challenge.
