Basketball Recap: Worthington Kilbourne Wolves vs. Big Walnut Golden Eagles
The Worthington Kilbourne Wolves lost against the Big Walnut Golden Eagles back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Worthington Kilbourne fell 48-36 to the Golden Eagles. Worthington Kilbourne has struggled against the Golden Eagles recently, as their matchup on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Worthington Kilbourne saw an underclassman step up: Riley Wilkinson scored 17 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Wilkinson has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Lia McGlone, who scored nine points.
