            Doss had lost three straight at home, but  on Wednesday they dropped their record down to 1-8 to make it four. They fell  20-17 to the Brown Bears. Even if the Dragons couldn't come away with the  win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.
As for Brown, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record  this season. The  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 15.7 runs over those games.
 For Brown's part,  the team  relied heavily on  Quinn Gallagher, who  went 4-for-5 with ten  stolen bases, three  runs,  and three  RBI. Gallagher also  hit a  double, marking his first of the season. Another player making a difference was  Jamison Calloway, who  went 2-for-5 with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and two  RBI.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Doss will venture away from home to  take on Shawnee  at 5:30  p.m.  on Thursday. The Dragons are facing the Golden Eagles at the right time seeing as the Golden Eagles are stuck on  a  six-game losing streak. As for Brown, they will head out to  challenge Moore  at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The Mustangs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.57  runs per game on average), something the Bears will no doubt try to take advantage of.
