University took care of business in their home opener on Wednesday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Colonial Grenadiers. That's more bragging rights for the Cougars, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

University never let Colonial on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-15.

Colonial's loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coincidentally, University and Colonial will both be playing Oak Ridge the next time they take the court. The Cougars will host the Pioneers at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Grenadiers will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
