Basketball Recap: Kennedy Takes a Loss

Kennedy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by the Sherwood Warriors 61-31. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cavaliers of the 54-41 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

Sherwood got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Shannon Farr out in front who went 6 of 11 on her way to 15 points in addition to seven steals and five boards. The dominant performance gave Farr a new career-high in steals. Another player making a difference was Avery Graham, who almost dropped a triple-double on nine points, 12 rebounds, and nine steals.

Kennedy's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Sherwood, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-4.

Kennedy has already played their next contest (against Watkins Mill), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Sherwood has also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against Gaithersburg.
