The Grand County Red Devils will be taking part in a tournament against the American Leadership Academy Eagles at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Grand County is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8 runs per game this season.

Last Saturday, everything went Grand County's way against North Summit as Grand County made off with an 11-4 win. The Red Devils haven't had any issues with the Braves recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Grand County let Trace York and Weston Jones run wild. York went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double, while Jones scored a run while going 2-for-2. Jt Dowd was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-1.

Meanwhile, American Leadership Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against Carbon, falling 7-1. The contest marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

American Leadership Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aryn Moody, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

The win got Grand County back to even at 3-3. As for American Leadership Academy, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Thursday as neither team is afraid to steal. Grand County has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.8 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like American Leadership Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3.6 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
