Camden County is a perfect 10-0 against Perquimans since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Bruins will be playing at home against the Pirates at 5:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Camden County is likely headed into the matchup with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Holmes on Monday. The Bruins lost 4-1 to the Aces. Brayden Gray was hit with a yellow card, which may have had some impact on his (and the team's) ability to make aggressive plays.

Camden County's goal came courtesy of Wyatt Werderman, who's now up to five this season.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Perquimans' offense. They came up short against Manteo on Wednesday, falling 6-0. While losing is never fun, Perquimans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 397th, while Manteo are ranked 74th).

Camden County's loss dropped their record down to 11-4-2. As for Perquimans, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11-1 record this season.

Camden County was able to grind out a solid win over Perquimans in their previous matchup on October 1st, winning 2-0. Will the Bruins repeat their success, or do the Pirates have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
