Valley put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Islesboro Central Eagles 77-15. Given the Cavaliers' advantage in MaxPreps' Maine basketball rankings (they are ranked 20th, while the Eagles are ranked 123rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Valley pushed their record up to 19-0 with the win, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.4 points over those games. As for Islesboro Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.
