Baseball Recap: Santa Rosa's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Santa Rosa had lost three games straight , but after bumping their record up to 9-14 on Wednesday that streak is in the rearview. They never let the Analy Tigers get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. This was a revenge game for the Panthers: when they faced off against the Tigers back in April, they had to take a 14-13 defeat.

Not much got past Daniel Mills, who gave up just two hits and racked up 11 Ks to keep Analy off the board. Santa Rosa is 2-1 when Mills allows three or fewer hits, but 7-13 otherwise.

As for Analy, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 13-1 and their overall record down to 14-9. Their defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

On Analy's side, Logan Radovich was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over six innings pitched. Radovich has been consistent: he hasn't given up a single earned run in five consecutive appearances.

Santa Rosa will have a chance to go back-to-back against Analy: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
