Greenbrier Christian Academy waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They walked away with an 8-3 win over the Cheraw Braves. The Gators have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Braves, too.

Bayleigh Kahiler was excellent, scoring a run while going 3-for-3. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Payton Finck, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Greenbrier Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 14-1. As for Cheraw, they are on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.

Coming up, Greenbrier Christian Academy will take on Groveport-Madison in a tournament on Thursday. As for Cheraw, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Carolina Academy at 6:00 p.m.
