Soccer Game Preview: Glenn vs. Cedar Park

Glenn hasn't had much luck against Cedar Park recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Glenn Grizzlies will be playing at home against the Cedar Park Timberwolves at 7:15 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.

Cedar Park better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if last week is any indication, that's when Glenn really gets things going. Glenn's defense stepped up to hand Hays a 3-0 shutout on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Cedar Park entered their tilt with Lockhart on Tuesday with 12 consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with 13. They blew past the Lions 7-0. The Timberwolves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 contests by three goals or more this season.

Cedar Park's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-2. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those six matches. As for Glenn, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-11.
