Basketball Recap: Carter Mccollum's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Cornerstone Christian Academy over Grace Christian

It was a proper cat-fight when Cornerstone Christian Academy challenged Grace Christian on Friday. The Cornerstone Christian Academy Cougars fell just short of the Grace Christian Wildcats by a score of 47-44. The Cougars were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 66-35.

Cornerstone Christian Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Carter McCollum, who posted 17 points. McCollum continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jordan Lemmon, who scored 12 points.
