Volleyball Game Preview: Bonneville Lakers vs. Clearfield Falcons

After both having extra time off, the Bonneville Lakers and the Clearfield Falcons will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Clearfield took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Bonneville, who comes in off a win.

Bonneville took a loss when they played away from home last Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed last Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Northridge.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-15, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Clearfield lost 3-0 to Bountiful last Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Falcons in their meetings with the RedHawks: they've now lost four in a row.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-18, 25-14.

Clearfield's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Bonneville, their win bumped their record up to 7-9.

Bonneville might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Clearfield when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Can the Lakers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
