Vandegrift not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since November 5, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the McNeil Mavericks. The victory was some much needed relief for the Vipers as it spelled an end to their seven-game losing streak.

Vandegrift was especially dominant in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-20, 25-13.

Vandegrift was led to victory by Isobel Cullen and Siri Krishna. Cullen had 11 digs and three aces, while Krishna had three aces. What's more, Krishna posted two digs, the most she's had over her last seven matchups. Camille Garcia also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

The win got Vandegrift back to even at 10-10. As for McNeil, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-16 record this season.

Vandegrift wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against The Woodlands on the 28th. As for McNeil, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Steele on the 28th.
