Softball Recap: Dinwiddie Generals vs. Prince George Royals
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Dinwiddie). They came out on top against the Prince George Royals by a score of 13-9 on Tuesday. This was payback for the Generals, who suffered a 10-3 loss the last time these two teams met.
Kailie Bookman and Nala Bain did most of the damage at the plate: Bookman scored three runs while going 4-for-4, while Bain went 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Those two runs gave Bain a new career-high. Addison Dickenson also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.
Dinwiddie was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .433. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
