After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Fort Madison, Mediapolis was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Central Lee Hawks a 6-0 shutout. Mediapolis might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by three goals or more this season.

Mediapolis is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 24 goals over those six matches. As for Central Lee, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9-3.

Looking ahead, Mediapolis will challenge Danville at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Central Lee, they will take on Moulton-Udell at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
