Basketball Recap: Altoona Comes Up Short

Altoona lost against Carlisle back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Altoona Mountain Lions took a blow against the Carlisle Thundering Herd, falling 79-37. The match marked the Mountain Lions' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Altoona's loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Carlisle, their win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-2.

Altoona will be home for the holidays to greet Chambersburg at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Chambersburg will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Altoona surely won't give up without a fight. As for Carlisle, they will head out to take on State College at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
