Soccer Recap: Bennett Comes Up Short

Bennett's game on Friday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Alameda Pirates by a score of 1-0. Bennett have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bennett's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Alameda, their win bumped their record up to 4-0-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Bennett is set to challenge their familiar foe Fort Lupton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Alameda will take on rival Englewood at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
