Basketball Recap: Potter's House Christian Skates Past FAMU DRS with Ease

Potter's House Christian lost to FAMU DRS back in January of 2020, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Potter's House Christian Lions blew past the FAMU DRS Baby Rattlers 75-5. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Potter's House Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alanna Tatum, who went 10 for 17 on her way to 23 points in addition to six boards and five steals. Tatum is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games she's played. Sara Dagba was another key player, going 5 of 11 en route to 16 points along with seven steals and five assists.

Potter's House Christian's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-4. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 21.3 points per game. As for FAMU DRS, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-15 record this season.

Potter's House Christian will host The Rock at 5:30 p.m. on January 28th. FAMU DRS has already played their next game (against Jefferson County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
