Baseball Recap: Circle Comes Up Short

Circle lost to Valley Center back in April of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Thunderbirds fell 7-2 to the Hornets. The Thunderbirds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Circle now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Valley Center, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-14.

Circle wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 6-1 victory against East on the 24th. As for Valley Center, they will challenge Salina South at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hornets' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cougars have averaged an impressive 6.1 runs per game this season.
