Soccer Game Preview: Georgetown vs. North Charleston

The Georgetown Bulldogs will square off against the North Charleston Cougars at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. North Charleston took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Georgetown, who comes in off a win.

Georgetown barely beat Dillon the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bulldogs' defense stepped up to hand the Wildcats a 7-0 shutout on Tuesday. Fans of Georgetown have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 3+ goals.

Meanwhile, North Charleston had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of St. John's by a score of 2-1 last Monday. The contest was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but North Charleston couldn't quite close it out.

Georgetown's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for North Charleston, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
