Basketball Recap: Turpin Comes Up Short

Turpin lost against West Clermont back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Turpin Spartans took a blow against the West Clermont Wolves, falling 65-30. While losing is never fun, the Spartans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 561st, while the Wolves are ranked 82nd).

This is the second loss in a row for Turpin and nudges their season record down to 1-16. As for West Clermont, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-5.

Turpin will welcome Walnut Hills at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for West Clermont, they will take on Lebanon at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
