Recap: Faith Christian Lions vs. City of Life Christian Academy Warriors
The Faith Christian Lions entered their tilt with the City of Life Christian Academy Warriors with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Faith Christian walked away with a 70-59 win over the Warriors on Thursday. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Faith Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ben Cox, who scored 17 points. Cox hasn't dropped below 15 points for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Owen Yeung, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Faith Christian has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 14-9 record this season. As for City of Life Christian Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-12.
Faith Christian will be playing at home against the Longhorns at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Harmony is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road. As for City of Life Christian Academy, they will take on the Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
