Volleyball Recap: Mckindsey Lloyd Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat North Wilkes

Surry Central hadn't done well against North Wilkes recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Golden Eagles walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Vikings. The game was the first time the Golden Eagles have beaten the Vikings on their court since October 7, 2021.

Surry Central's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Mckindsey Lloyd led the charge by getting ten assists and four aces. Presley Smith was another key player, getting six digs, two aces, and one block.
