It's playoff time, and Northlake Christian had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the Vermilion Catholic Eagles 4-1 on Wednesday. Considering the Wolverines have won nine matches by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Northlake Christian has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-2-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 56 goals over those 13 contests. As for Vermilion Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-6.

Northlake Christian will take on Episcopal on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Northlake Christian comes in on six and Episcopal on seven. Vermilion Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
