Volleyball Game Preview: Rolling Meadows Mustangs vs. Hersey Huskies

Rolling Meadows is 2-8 against Hersey since September of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Mustangs are taking a road trip to take on the Huskies at 6:00 p.m.

On Tuesday, Rolling Meadows came up short against Fremd and fell 2-0.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Hersey earned a 2-0 victory over Hoffman Estates on Tuesday. The Huskies haven't had any issues with the Hawks recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Hersey was: they took both sets by at least 13 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-12.

Rolling Meadows now has a losing record of 16-17. As for Hersey, their victory bumped their record up to 18-10.

Rolling Meadows couldn't quite get it done against Hersey when the teams last played back in September as they fell 2-0. Can the Mustangs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
