Soccer Recap: Boerne-Champion Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Boerne-Champion, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They had just enough and edged the Dripping Springs Tigers out 4-3 on Tuesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Chargers needed considering they were shutout in their previous matchup.

They hit Dripping Springs with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Maggie Hall (2), Jayme Harrell, and Grace Johnson.

Boerne-Champion's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Dripping Springs, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Boerne-Champion will take on Veterans Memorial at 7:15 p.m. on January 14th. Dripping Springs has already played their next game, a 0-0 draw against Bridgeland on the 9th.
