Softball Game Preview: Lee Academy Cavaliers vs. Northside Christian Academy Crusaders

The Lee Academy Cavaliers will take on the Northside Christian Academy Crusaders at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lee Academy is looking for their season's first victory.

Lee Academy is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to ten runs on Wednesday, they were much more limited against Williamsburg Academy on Tuesday. They lost 16-2 to the Stallions.

Lee Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ansley Nesbit, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-1. That stolen base was Nesbit's first of the season. Another was Jameson Collins, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Northside Christian Academy got themselves on the board against South Aiken Baptist Christian on Tuesday, but South Aiken Baptist Christian never followed suit. They were the clear victor by a 13-0 margin over the CRUSADERS.

Lee Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Northside Christian Academy, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
