Soccer Recap: Klein Takes a Loss

Klein was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Magnolia West Mustangs. While losing is never fun, the Bearkats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 322nd, while the Mustangs are ranked 124th).

Klein's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Magnolia West, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-4.

Coincidentally, Klein and Magnolia West will both be playing Klein Oak the next time they take the pitch. Magnolia West will head out to face Klein Oak at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Klein will host them at 7:30 p.m. on March 7th.
