Pioneer won the last time they faced Silver Creek and things went their way on Friday too. The Mustangs enjoyed a cozy 21-6 win over the Raiders. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.

Pioneer got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Connor Christensen out in front who picked up 81 receiving yards and two TDs. Christensen was no stranger to the big play, connecting on a big catch that went for 50 yards. Braeden Ries was another key passer, throwing for 140 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 73.3% of his passes.

Pioneer didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Silver Creek to a completion percentage of just 42.9%. The team can thank Thomas Williams for the heroic effort on defense: he. Given Ries' standout performance, it's clear Silver Creek's secondary just wasn't on the same level.
