Baseball Recap: Westfield Comes Up Short

Westfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 3-2 to the Chantilly Chargers, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Chargers this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-2 defeat on Monday.

Westfield's loss dropped their record down to 8-16. As for Chantilly, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-8-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Westfield nor Chantilly have any future games scheduled.
