Soccer Game Preview: Hudson vs. New Waverly

The Hudson Hornets will challenge the New Waverly Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Hudson is headed into the matchup having not lost since the second and will look to keep things rolling. Neither they nor Jasper could gain the upper hand on Saturday so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw.

Meanwhile, New Waverly hadn't done well against Diboll recently (they were 0-6 in their previous six matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Everything went New Waverly's way against Diboll as New Waverly made off with a 9-5 victory. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 5-1.

New Waverly now has a winning record of 2-1-1. Hudson's draw gives them a new season record of 5-1-2.

Hudson took their win against New Waverly in their previous matchup back in February of 2022 by a conclusive 5-1. Does Hudson have another victory up their sleeve, or will New Waverly turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
