You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Randolph's strategy against Gowanda on Thursday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Randolph Cardinals blew the Gowanda Panthers out of the water with a 70-23 final score. The Cardinals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 22 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Skylar Herington, who posted 27 points in addition to five boards and four steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Randolph's points. Payton Morrison was another key player, going 5 for 12 en route to 15 points and five steals.

Randolph smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 24 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in ten consecutive games.

Randolph is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.9 points per game. As for Gowanda, their defeat was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-4.
