Softball Recap: Appleton West Comes Up Short

Appleton West fell victim to Appleton North and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Lightning, falling 18-0. The Terrors haven't had much luck with the Lightning recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Appleton West's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Appleton North, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Appleton West will square off against rival Neenah at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Appleton North is set to face off against their familiar foe Oshkosh West at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
