Softball Recap: University Has No Trouble Against Waco

University won the last time they faced Waco and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Trojans put the hurt on the Lions with a sharp 13-3 win. The contest marked the Trojans' most dominant victory of the season.

The win made it two in a row for University and bumps their season record up to 8-5-1. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 3-7-1 Waco and 6-12 Belton. As for Waco, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7-1.

Coming up, University will venture away from home to take on Lake Belton at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Broncos will roll in looking for their 14th straight victory, something the Trojans surely won't give up without a fight. As for Waco, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Waco Lions take on Belton Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Belton will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
