Baseball Recap: Telstar Triumphs

Telstar came out on top against Sacopee Valley on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run first inning. The Rebels walked away with a 5-2 win over the Hawks. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rebels.

Brennan Walker made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. Walker was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two runs.

Walker wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Ai Ballou, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI. Maceo Bartlett also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Telstar's record is now 13-3-1. As for Sacopee Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-8-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Telstar nor Sacopee Valley have any future games scheduled.
