Volleyball Recap: Ware Shoals Comes Up Short + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Ware Shoals can now relate to. They came up short against the McBee Panthers on Wednesday, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hornets of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2023.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-13, 25-21.

Emma Goff was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 11 digs and three aces. She has been hot, having posted two or more aces the last five times she's played.

Ware Shoals' defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for McBee, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season.

Ware Shoals does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for McBee, they will face off against Governor's School for Science & Math on Monday.
