Softball Recap: North Gaston Wildcats vs. Stuart W. Cramer Storm

If North Gaston was feeling good off their 12-0 takedown of Ashbrook last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The North Gaston Wildcats suffered a rough 10-3 defeat at the hands of the Stuart W. Cramer Storm on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to North Gaston of the 11-10 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March.

North Gaston saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kadence Hampton, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Even though they lost, North Gaston didn't let batters stay on the plate for long and finished the game with 11 strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Stuart W. Cramer only tossed four.
