Sidney snaps four-game streak of wins on the road

Recap: Sidney Yellowjackets vs. Fairborn Skyhawks
It was a good run, but the Sidney Yellowjackets unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of Fairborn by a score of 44-42. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Sidney has scored all season.
It was another big night for Taiyou Williams, who scored 21 points along with six rebounds and three steals for Fairborn. Those 21 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Sean Townsend, who scored 12 points.
Sidney's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 4-2. As for Fairborn, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Sidney will head out on the road to face off against Piqua at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Piqua has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Fairborn will be home for the holidays to greet Tippecanoe at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
