Volleyball Recap: Vacaville Christian's Victory on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Vacaville Christian entered their tilt with Highlands on Monday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Scots with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Falcons, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Vacaville Christian took every set by at least 16 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-4, 25-9, 25-8.

Vacaville Christian found their leader in sophomore Bella Linton, who had 12 assists and three aces. Those three aces set a new season-high mark for Linton.

Vacaville Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 20 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 13 aces in three consecutive contests.

Vacaville Christian's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Highlands, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.
