Volleyball Game Preview: Flintridge Prep Wolves vs. Polytechnic Panthers

Flintridge Prep is 0-10 against Polytechnic since October of 2019 but things could change on Tuesday. The Wolves will be playing in front of their home fans against the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. Flintridge Prep is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last 14 games.

Flintridge Prep won the last time they faced Mayfield and Ally Perez did her part to make sure it happened again. The Wolves blew past the Cubs 3-0 on Monday thanks in part to Perez, who had 13 digs and two aces. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 10.1 digs per game.

The match came down to the wire multiple times:two sets needed extra rallies to declare a winner. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 28-26, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Polytechnic beat Mayfield 3-1 on Thursday.

Polytechnic was especially dominant in the second set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-11, 26-28, 25-19.

Flintridge Prep's victory bumped their record up to 21-2. As for Polytechnic, their win bumped their record up to 16-3.
