Football Recap: Evergreen Comes Up Short Despite Grady White's Big Defensive Game + How To Watch

Evergreen entered their game against Conifer on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Cougars came up short against the Lobos, falling 27-7. Having soared to a lofty 71 points in the game before, the Cougars couldn't push the score so high this time.

Evergreen didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Grady White.

A big part of Conifer's win came down to the chemistry between Charlie Ostrowski and his top target Solomon Washer. Ostrowski threw for 263 yards and four TDs while Washer picked up 124 receiving yards and a pair of scores. Ostrowski has been hot recently, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last four times he's played.

Evergreen's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Conifer, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-1.

As of now, neither Evergreen nor the Lobos have any future games scheduled.
