Basketball Game Preview: Beamer Titans vs. Enumclaw Hornets

Beamer hasn't had much luck against Enumclaw recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Beamer Titans will face off against the Enumclaw Hornets at 5:30 p.m. Both are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Beamer is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Jefferson 94-44. Winning may never get old, but the Titans sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Meanwhile, Enumclaw was fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Jefferson 77-40. Given the Hornets' advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 138th, while the Raiders are ranked 349th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Enumclaw's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-5. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.0 points per game. As for Beamer, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

Beamer couldn't quite finish off Enumclaw in their previous meeting back in January and fell 52-50. Can Beamer avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
